During the last 25 years a big quantity of new developments and knowledge have extraordinarily driven the quantity, quality and capabilities of robots. This forum focuses on the next generation of humanoid robots, analyzing the new trends and application areas, the new challenges and the relationships between humanoids technology and humans. The lemma of this conference, “Humans and robots face-to-face”, shows the growing importance of the collaboration and interaction between these two worlds, human and artificial.   

This forum focuses on new challenges for both the humans to accept robots and the humanoids’ researchers to develop new systems. Well recognized experts in the field from different institutions and generations present their view about the future of the field.
